Mitch Kirilo started tattooing in late 2007 after his Dad brought home a couple of machines, and he soon found a shop that would take him in to learn the ropes. Since he got his first tattoo all Mitch worked towards was tattooing. It was an obvious choice given that his late Father who has been a huge inspiration, had been an airbrush artist on motorcycles and boogie vans back when Mitch was a kid, and had always encouraged him to do art. After bouncing around the lower mainland from shop to shop and working his way up the ladder, Mitch Kirilo finally settled down and made his home in Gastown.
On his off time Mitch enjoys a good cup of coffee, motorcycles, skateboards, playing in bands, camping, traveling and spending time with his lovely wife Amanda and their pitbull Lucy. All of these things bring great inspiration to his work, attitude and drawing style.
Although Mitch loves to tattoo in all styles and is more than glad to accommodate and work with you on your ideas, he works best in his own style. Working with bold and fine clean lines, strong black shading and unique colour pallets tend to be the way his work looks when he is given full creative control. Please call or email the shop directly for any bookings, and thanks for looking!
